Bruce lectured in horticultural science at Massey University for over 25 years before leaving to expand his business interests. He is one of HortInfo's writers although his main role is as its webmaster - Bruce is responsible for the internet structure and delivery of our education and knowledge-based resources. He is the main developer of the innovative tools such as the interactive factsheets and calculators that make the HortInfo website an effective and valuable resource for its target audiences.

David has worked in horticultural research and extension since 1989, originally with MAF Technology and then with HortResearch. Since 2003 David has worked as an independent researcher and industry trainer. David’s research areas include disease management, spray application technology and sustainable production systems. David is involved in ongoing research and extension projects with several fruit sectors including winegrapes, kiwifruit, avocadoes and pipfruit.
